The Importance of Sunset Clauses in the Nuclear Deal
Most of the global community was completely appalled to see the US withdrawal. Under US law, it is legal to do so, because our side of this agreement was what's called an executive order. It was not ratified by Congress. The whole idea was that people who are fighting against us being in this deal were saying they're just using these sunset clauses to then be able to achieve nuclear weapons anyway. But isn't there argument that we are only pursuing nuclear capabilities to replace fossil fuels? That's- Everybody's argument.
