The Dangers of Defrauding the United States Government

If we implement this theory retroactively, if a president or a candidate takes on bad legal advice or false legal advice and believes that aliens have taken over the election, that's their right to do it. The prosecuting someone and claiming that they're defrauding the United States because they're implementing or accepting legal theories that you don't like is an assault on the First Amendment. I mean, Al Gore could be, could be indicted under these rules. Adam Schiff could be indictedunder these rules. Wasn't there a lawyer in 2016 who wanted faithless electors to go against the will of the people or whatever? I mean, it's just an incredibly dangerous precedent that they're setting.
