How to Use Shortcuts to Automate Your Automation
shortcuts allow you to send addressable text to a home pod. You can also just call a variable so you can generate text as part of your shortcut and then send it. I personally have found that this makes a lot more sense in my personal automations rather than the home kit automations, but it sounds like you've been finding both of them to be useful David.
