Human Terrain Systems - Do You Know About Them?

i came across different human terrain teams throughout my year in afghanistan and there was definitely a kind of idealism to them. i remember being with other human terrain teams where they were just as jaded as ibk and they just they didn't believe in what they were doing at all but yeah i wouldn't say like often but i occasionally did  I became friends with one of the human terrain guys who was at one of the bases of that that i was at at for a while so we would have lunch together.
