If your goal is speaking, focus on things that are slice of life. If you want to get to stage three and stage four faster, then definitely focus on predominantly slice of life adjacent things. For me personally, I have to follow my interests or else I just literally cannot pay attention. So for me, I just go for what do I like and is there something in that like spectrum of things that I like that has useful vocabulary? Okay, try to go for that.
