I Will Not Let You Touch My Body Like That
You can hold their little hands. You can hug them tight even if they're upset and you can say, I will not let you hurt the baby in that way. This is a safe place for everyone. But kids are going to have big reactions to our roles and boundaries, especially certain temperaments of kids. It doesn't mean that you did anything wrong or that the boundary isn't valid. They're allowed to not like it and you're allowed to still hold that boundary.
