The Importance of Flexibility in Work Hours

A survey shows that only 47 percent of employees can make the connection between their jobs and company performance. "I would like him to say, I totally don't care where you're doing your work as long as it's getting done," one employee says about a boss who might send an email reminding his team how much time they spend at work. A compromise may be better than firing people for working too many hours or leaving them in charge of others' schedules.
