Spencer: Human mind is not something that just like speaks the truth about itself and what it feels like perfectly. Duncan: It's useful to think about giving people wiggle room to revise their statements. Spencer: Once you're in an adversarial dynamic, yep, it's bad. And I can see lots of ways for people to abuse it.

Why do "antagonistic" teachers exist in popular culture but not in the classroom? What happens to student outcomes when "antagonistic" learning is implemented in real classrooms?
