Mildred harnock was one of many women executed by the guillotine in Germany. She and other resistance activists were hanged or shot after being found guilty at a political trial. The head of the anatomical department at the university berlin had a secret arrangement with the director of flutsey prison to deliver women's bodies to his laboratory where he dissected them. He kept a list of the women whom he dissected, and mildred was on this as were many others in her group.
