The Evolution of the Prison System
In place of an overseer, you now have a prison guard or a warden overseeing the whole thing. And it's basically a for profit operation. You're still getting cheap, cheap labor from prisons. A hundred percent. This was on the books in the 1940s and 50s called worker fight. It's left over from like you said, doll, the overseers from slavery. So if we go to, if we understand, that Faulkner was right when he said the past is it really the past and we see the echoes of this.
