Is There a Future for AI?

AI companies have got a little less scared this year. There has been some successes with text to image models, specifically stable diffusion who disrupted the status quo within this industry. Stable diffusion is open source. Anyone can mess around with it. That is having, will have bad consequences, but it's also created a lot of interest and excitement in that field.
