How to Deflect the Solar Wind Around Mars
The amount of loss per year is really is quite low. If you talk about us bengable to change the look and feel of mars, we'ud be contributing so much new water to the planet that loss to space would be pretty insignificant. The main thing that we'd want to do is to not have the solar wind interact with mars as significantly. That's important less for keeping water on the planet and more for having people on the planet.
