The Beowulf poet is, I mean, the story that he tells is very sensitive. It handles this question of like our righteous pagan ancestors and all these different things,. It handles it all with a great deal of delicacy. And to this day, you know, students read the poem, like if they really read the poems, half of them will come away thinking, this is a celebration of old heroic ideals.
