The French Military Strategy in Africa
The French aren't the only country intervening here in Africa. The US as an example has bases in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Djibouti and Kenya. Other countries like Canada, the UK, China, Italy, Japan, Russia, Turkey and the UAE also all have military bases on mainland Africa. So how does the French military strategy and their conduct of operations here in the region compared to how the US or UK run operations? And how do these militaries operate alongside one another?
