She must have had a strong personality. She must have known that she was an agent, not an object and therefore refused to be objectified. I've sometimes worried as i look round the world to day and see whether it's male or female who are content with surface level kinds of things. We both have similar problems in this, that one gender often accuses the other gender of a certain shallowness,. whereas they're not pushing that other gender to look very deep.
