The Egalitarian Narrative Is a Bias Towards Optimism

I don't think that egalitarian narrative is a bias towards optimism. If anything, maybe like in a vacuum, or maybe like the boomer conservative version is a bias toward optimism. But it just has not stayed there. It just is so vulnerable. And yeah, like, I would not be completely opposed to making like the bootstraps narrative, the kind of like national mythology, but that is just as long as it stays there.
