The Different Types of Possession

Possession is how the language indicates that one thing is possessed by another. Most languages have a distinction, inalienable things tend to be body parts and members of your family. It's not like there's, it's not like it always makes sense in each language. For example, dogs were very important work animals in pre-Columbian North America so some Native American languages dogs are alienable and others they are inalienable.
