Fenton Bailey and the Video Camera in the 70s and 80s
Nelson was working with a shoulder-held camera and a battery pack. He took the camera out almost every night. Nelson filmed people in places downtown, where artists like Keith Herring and John Michelle Boschiat were becoming big names. Phoebe Judge: Those people on the margins had enough of being on the margins; they deserved to be seen.
