CHAPTER

The History of Christian Books

Christian books are different from other genres in a very interesting way so back in the 1950s the big publishers stopped publishing Christian books. The reaction of Christians particularly evangelical Christians and concerted Christians in the United States was to create their own bookstores. In that way they're more like comic books which are the same right Comic books have their own printers they have their own stores I don't know how it is in the UK but here in the States you go to a comic book store and it doesn't have any normal books but it might sell magic the gathering or Warhammer figurines.
