The Problem With Private Home Ownership in Australia

54 percent of renters in Australia are only renting because they could not afford a house. So absolutely we should have more landlords getting rid of one of their properties to the people who have none Yeah, I think like and obviously there is kind of an interesting theoretical argument to be had around the emphasis on private home ownership versus um Proper you know real estate as as a collectively shared something that we should be emphasizing state ownership or normalizing public ownership rather than private ownership.
