How to Start a Spanish Speaking Class
Don't try and do all your rules and expectations in one class. Spread them out. You want your first routines to be how you enter and leave class. The very first ones for me are the funny ones, like door and windol. For every other class, pretty much we start the class with five minutes of silent reading.
