The book explores the ways in which people's attitudes about race, identity and nationalism might be a impact by the messages that they hear from leaders. The two hypotheses that i was really most interested in relate to the politics of nationalism. They relate to how we convince people who are really nationalistic, or fearful of that change. We talked about them earlier, a, to actually embrace demographic change, or to at least not be so unerved by it. You know, you don't have to love it, but you certainly shouldn't oppose it.
