Why People Are Curious About Moral Badness
Beth: Could one of the reasons we want to learn more about these bad characters? Would that be motivated by the fact we assume everyone's good? So if someone's doing something off that thing that is moral objective truth, we all think we should follow, we want an explanation to why. Beth: What I really think is happening is that people are motivated to maintain and understand the contours of their moral world. They need some explanation for how this person or why this person was this way so I can help make sense of a world where they tend to be good.
