It was, as always, delightful to hear Mark rant about Nixon on the last take two. But I'd like to offer a small correction. The Nixon White House recording system predated him. It had originally been set up by his predecessor Lyndon B. Johnson. This taping system has contributed enormously to our understanding of history. In addition to important events recorded in these tapes, there is also audio of various other miscellaneous goings on inside the Oval Office.
