A lot of these projects are launching because basically they are little profile pictures that you can use on platforms like twitter. cryptopunks, you could say, started this craze, but in a wayth i don't know if they ever meant to start it. I think what you saw was there's a demand for these avatars. People want to be part of some kind of munity. And so the board ape yacht club is really kind of came out of nowhere.
