The Panic of the Eighties

In the eighties, tipper gore stepped on to the national stage and was like, i am very upset about all the terrible lyrics that the children are listening to. This is basically just a bunch of white parents yelling at men in tight pants. But it's within the confines of sort of, nice suburban white kids being preyed upon by white bands. And there sort of, there's a limit to sort of how much fear you can whip up about that,. Like, it sort of hits a ceiling certain point. The contrast is very interesting, because this panic, it's lhike, basically white on white violence.
