I think we grew up expecting like a kind of upwards driving of society, like things getting better and we're facing a very different reality. And I do wonder if a lot of our conflict comes from different levels of acceptance of that reality. It seems to me that that's often what we're fighting over. Right. You know, it's the narrative that we told ourselves coming into conflict with the truth of things. So again, you know, we're talking about grief and the ego, this is the same thing. Like I've built this sense of self and identity based on these systems, and now these systems are disrupted. right.
