Doctor j forester was the researcher in charge of project whirlwind. By 19 forty nine, he was determined to find or build a better memory system. Both wang and forester were setting out to solve the same problem. The two divers threety distinction here mainly has to do with memory density. A key difference is where each researcher started their project. For wang, it was all about finding a better memory element. For forester, the structure of memory was of prime concern.
