Maimonides' Philosophy in the Middle Ages

Maimonides argues that God is not anthropomorphic in any way. He's a simple unity, he says. We are an aspect of God. The Pope is kind of like Thanos. Could be. I couldn't get through this on my own. Who could get through it?
