Introduction
Nietzsche's task in Beyond Good and Evil is to break down what he calls the fundamental faith of all metaphysicians, which is this belief in opposite values. He sees good and evil as mutually interdependent as gradations of one another. This is sort of the moral dualist conception that we all have. And his project is to stand for what we might call the immoralist position against the moralists.
