The Importance of OpenAI in the Development of Chat GPT
The OpenAI model gives you the ability to rebalance risk versus scale. So if OpenAI wants to do something that's a little further out there, there's sort of a natural channel to do that in. It does seem like having this membrane between an OpenAI entity and an entity like Microsoft sort of lets you do exploration and exploitation in a very, I think, kind of a unique way.
