Deep Learning Models Are Not Consistently Winning Recommender Systems Competitions
In 2020, that you presented along with the Rexxus Challenge workshop about why are deep learning models not consistently winning recommender systems competitions yet. Was this somehow kind of a response to the paper in the previous year or what actually were the reasons you found out in that paper? Yeah. If you go through the paper, you find mostly we're asking questions rather than giving answers. I'd like to figure out a systematic way to study that too. To be able to say, okay, here is the size at which deep learning makes sense. Right? And we'll say in this context, this is a better method or in this situation.
