What's the Progress With CRISPR Technology?

In the just a decade since the first paper describing the that technology was published. So what are the key breakthroughs where this has been put to good use in inverted commas? Well that's very hard to question to answer because there are so many. In terms of clinical application then there are an increasing number of clinical trials have started which are using gene editing technology particularly CRISPR for gene therapy and somatic gene therapy. The UK is a good example where we deal with the governance of new technologies quite well, particularly in the biomedical sphere.
