Clarence Drexler is the author of a new book about philosophy and science. In it, she argues that people who say humanity's knowledge is dumb or non cognitive are wrong. She also says there is no equivalent of a humanist method for truth-discovery. The humanities are considered not to be primarily a method of truth discovery - but they have been doing so for over 100 years.
