What Happens Next in Bernard Cleary's Trial?
Bernard cleary is the latest in a long line of whistle blowers to face trial. The government has spent almost four million dollars on legal fees for this case. It's an astonishing lengthy legal saga for anyone, says Karan Jones. And i think what i take away from following this case and following these other cases is that, fundamentally, whistle blowers make australia a better place. They need to be protected, not punished, and certainly not prosecuted in a secret trial with secret evidence and cret judgments.
