When to Use the Nail or Not to Use It?
Anton: I want to clarify when to use the nail. Some people remove the nail completely, repair it and then splint it. How do you make that decision of whether to remove the nail or not remove the nail? Anton: If there's a small sub-ugle hematoma, if the lateral x-ray alignment is good and if the nail is largely reduced, I'm going to leave that alone.
