Amos Decker's Memory Man

Amos Decker has had some tough breaks. As a young player, a violent blow to the head on the football field ended his pro career. His powers took him into a successful career as a police detective until tragedy struck. Sixteen months before we meet him, his wife and daughter were brutally murdered. Amos goes off the rails and loses his job, but a second horrific crime, a grisly school shooting in his hometown brings him back into the fray. He is determined to catch the perpetrator, especially when it appears that there's a connection between the school shooter and the deaths of his own family. And the bodies continue to mount up, with the killer leaving coded messages for him.
