Is AQR on an Academic Resume?
Maas: We're helping their academic career also because we're okay with them writing about a lot of this. And that's very attractive versus a firm that says you can't say a word. Second, I don't think we could have even access to these people to the same degree if we weren't producers as well as consumers of this research. Maas: affiliation with AQR doesn't look bad on anybody's resume and vice versa allows you to have access to some of the top academics out there.
