The Importance of Statistics in Science

Statistics is interesting and useful branch of mathematics. It enters only in what I call in my book, the perspiration phase. So if we have a massive statistics and use statistical theory to get an answer out of that, the answer was really created before the data were even collected. And that part doesn't involve statistics. Do you think it's likely that it can be used to discover hypothesis as well, or maybe like, not? "I think that's so much of it. So fundamentally impossible"
