There are many people who are calling for reparations and particularly when it comes to the drug war. The drug war has been a prominent tool for not only policing and inciting state sponsored violence in black and brown communities. It's also been an engine for as Jules was pointing out disinvestment from those neighborhoods at the same time. If we want to address those kinds of upstream conditions, then we have to reinvest in these neighborhoods.
