The Importance of Character in Mentoring
Tim Keller was not a very likely candidate to be mentored. He wasn't the one with the Harvard MBA, he had a C in his preaching class. Tim and Kathy's personality and R.C. Sproul's weren't a great match for each other. The world looks for souls, but the Lord sees the heart. It's just that the one is more of what we look at than the others.
