I think their honesty is always the best policy. People love a good victim, you know, they like to tear you down to build you up. So I think that if you've done something and you really feel remorse about it, then you should express that. But you should also understand that some people will never forgive you. And so you can't placate to those people. You just have to say, I messed up. I apologize.
