How Do Our Modes of Interpretation and Our Doctrine of Scripture Affect Us?
Alister Bratt: Our doctrine of scripture is shaped by our habitual readings and manners of engagement with the text, but also vice versa. We have a particular ways of an understanding scripture, and that produces certain modes of reading. So i'ld be curious to hear you talk a bit about that relationship between our modes of interpretation and our doctrine of scripture. And how do those questions on both sides influence each other?
