Recognition Is Easier Than You Think

Some accents are just harder to understand for outsiders. But heather says it is still a lot easier to train the ear to hear new accents than the tongue to speak them. It's basically reverse engineering what you say this way, they say that way. And once you know the code, it's just a little puzzle - and your brain starts trying to figure it out.
