The Problem With Tipping in the United States
I feel that tiptulation is out of control in the United States. I think Congress needs to enact laws personally to make it so that all employers are required to pay their employees minimum wage or even a living wage. And then people can tip whatever they want, if they want to tip 10 or 20%, whatever,. It's up to them on an individual basis. But what we need to do is have employers take care of their employees properly. If that means raising the price of a burger from like $2 to $2.50 so that the employer can then pay their employee a proper amount, then so be it.
