The Evolution of Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens

It was very difficult for us to know whether Neanderthals or Homo sapiens ever met one another. We now have a very good idea of the fact that these groups must have spent a considerable amount of time overlapping with one another. But compared to when we were in 2010, we now know a lot more about the relationship between Neanderthals and modern humans. And what about the Denisovans? Some people increasingly feel that Neanderthals were actually a very well adapted, quite behaviorally advanced group.
