Anxiety and Repetition
The neurology of ottism involves a lot of repetition. There are neuralogic pathways in the centre and into the front of the brain that have to do with helping us stick on something that is really important and release it when it is not important. So you can see that someone who struggles with both anxiety and repetition can also then struggle with this anxious repetition of thoughts and fears. Another reason this is common is that inherently, the artistic individual will misperceive or have difficulty really navigating social interactions and social relationships.
