Is Hospitalization a Bad Thing?

The study wasn't designed for that. We didn't find a difference among provider types and reason for admission to the hospital or emergency room departments. If you can reach your primary care provider and say, this is going on, what should I do? Should I go to the emergency department? You may avoid some admissions. It could be residual confounding, meaning that the patients of physicians were still sicker than the patients of PAs and NPs.
