The Soft Life: A Life Without Difficulty
The term soft life as a general phrase, meaning a life without difficulty has actually been used since at least the mid 1600s. A number of black therapists also believe the timing is the result of more black women going to therapy and talking openly about mental health in this particular generation. "We're acknowledging that we don't want the struggle life," one therapist said.
