Watching the First Season of Clan Ad

The first season of clan ad is fun, but you can't appreciate the second season. You can't jump into after story without having experienced these characters. I remember thinking like this is just like shittier. Do you just watch every high school anime and just like yeah it's in high school? No, it's the same. But back when clan ad first came out like 2009 I believe. It's about 2007-2009.
